Are you 18 years old or older, are you in Venezuela, and do you feel that the job market is a giant wall? Stop! You don't need 10 years of experience to earn a decent salary, but you do need strategy, proper paperwork, and a mindset of continuous learning.
If you want to stop being just another "candidate" and become the talent that companies value, save this article. Here is the treasure map. 👇
1. Where to look without falling for scams?
In this age of AI and social networks, digital security is vital. Don't waste time in suspicious Facebook groups. Go for the safe option:
LinkedIn: It remains the crown jewel for networking and finding vacancies in high-level multinational or local companies.
Bumeran Venezuela: The leading platform in volume of formal offers. Its filters for "Seniority" (Junior/First Job) are excellent.
Computrabajo Venezuela: Ideal for operational, sales, and service positions. It is very active and has a quite efficient mobile application.
Empléate: A classic Venezuelan platform that has modernized. Very robust for technical and administrative positions.
RemotoJOB / Workana: If you're looking to earn in foreign currency from home, these platforms are connecting young Venezuelans with companies from all over Ibero-America.
2. Who is hiring today? (Salaries from $200 to $500+)
Leading companies in Venezuela are looking for "young talent". These sectors are the most active this year:
Giant Retail: Farmatodo, EPA, and Forum. They are the best "schools". They offer stability, training, and benefits that exceed the law.
Banking and Fintech: Banesco and Mercantil. They are looking for young people for digital attention and promoters. Ideal for building a career.
Technology and Support: PRC Connect and Las Villas Online. If you have good diction or speak English, the bonuses here are massive.
Logistics: Zoom and IVOO. E-commerce doesn't stop, and they always need agile minds in warehouses and customer service.
3. The "Legal Checklist": What you can't miss
To get hired formally (with all your benefits), keep this in a folder (physical and digital):
Identity Card (Clean and current).
Digitalized RIF: Processed at SENIAT.
Military Registration: It is a legal requirement that many large companies demand.
Health Certificate: Essential for public attention.
Personal Bank Account: No one pays into third-party accounts anymore.
SIVET: The new skills validation standard in Venezuela.
4. Two strategies to get them to say "HIRED"
If you have no experience, don't compete with the past, compete with your future:
Strategy A: The Skills CV. Don't put "I have no experience". Put: "Customer service specialist with advanced generative AI skills and problem-solving ability". Show what you can do today.
Strategy B: Prior Research. Before the interview, study the company. If you say: "I saw that you are opening a new location and I want to contribute my agility to make the logistics perfect", you will have won 50% of the position.
5. The golden advice: Work or Study? BOTH!
Many young people want to leave high school or not go to university because they "need money". Be careful with that trap. Working without studying puts a very low ceiling on your salary.
If you don't finish high school: Legally, you'll have the heaviest and worst-paid jobs. Get it done through parasystem, but get it done!
University is very important, but it is not the only path: If you don't want 5 years of a degree (Bachelor's or Engineering), you can also opt for a short 3-year career (e.g., T.S.U in Computer Science or Business Administration), while you can take technical courses or Bootcamps. Study programming, equipment repair, marketing, or finance in 6 months to 1-year courses.
Use your salary to finance your brain: Your first salary is not for clothes or partying, it's to pay for that course that will make your second job pay three times as much.
I want to know about you!
Entering the labor market is a challenge, but you are not alone.
What is holding you back today from looking for a job? The paperwork, nerves, or not knowing what to study?
Leave your question in the comments. I will be responding and giving personalized advice to those who share this post. 🔥🚀
