Recently, I have been focusing on the Midnight chain in the Cardano ecosystem and have also researched its native token $NIGHT. I want to share my genuine views, neither boasting nor being negative, just stating my own judgment.
First of all, NIGHT is not a speculative coin; it is backed by the official Cardano team IOG, focusing on **compliant programmable privacy**, using zero-knowledge proof technology for privacy computing while also considering regulatory requirements. This is very critical in today's crypto market. The entire industry is becoming more standardized, and purely anonymous coins will be increasingly restricted, while compliant privacy could very well be the core track of the next stage. This is also the main reason I pay attention to NIGHT.
From the perspective of the token model, NIGHT is responsible for governance, and DUST is responsible for transaction fees; the dual-token design is very clear, ensuring both efficiency of on-chain operations and actual support for token value, rather than solely relying on speculation. It has already been listed on mainstream exchanges such as OKX, with sufficient liquidity, making entry and exit very convenient, which is a very important safety baseline for ordinary investors.
Personally, I think the advantages of $NIGHT are very prominent: first, the team's technical strength is strong; it is not a small workshop project, and it has mature ecological backing; second, the track is accurately chosen, privacy + compliance is a major trend, and there is a lot of room for imagination; third, the mainnet has not fully exploded yet, and it is currently in the early layout stage, with a favorable risk-reward ratio.
But I must clarify the risks; this is my own calm judgment: there are many well-established projects in the privacy track, and competition is very fierce. For $NIGHT to break through, it must rely on the landing of the ecosystem and practical applications. Secondly, the unlocking of tokens and the increase in circulation will lead to selling pressure in the short term, making it difficult for the price to rise sharply. Additionally, the overall market trend and regulatory policies will directly affect its performance; there is no guarantee of profit.
My operational thinking is very clear: do not chase highs, do not go all in, use small positions to layout in batches, and hold for the long term. I won't get caught up in short-term fluctuations; the focus is on the progress of the mainnet, the landing of ecological applications, and the situation of cooperation. If the ecosystem starts to run, $NIGHT is very likely to become one of the leading assets in the privacy track; if progress is not as expected, I will strictly control the risks.
