🇬🇧 He thought his Bitcoin was safe… until his own wife stole it from him 😱

A man in the United Kingdom accuses his wife, from whom he is now separated, of stealing over 171 million dollars in Bitcoin after using surveillance cameras to obtain his seed phrase.

After being warned of the potential theft, the husband set up audio equipment to try to find evidence against his wife.

The individual, Ping Fai Yuen, had over 2,323 Bitcoin stored on his Trezor in 2023. But they were transferred from his wallet and, after multiple transactions, were scattered across 71 different Bitcoin addresses.

In November 2025, Ping requested a "preservation injunction for proprietary assets," asking for a declaration of ownership of the BTC and a freeze of the crypto assets.$BTC
