【BTC breaks 75K, the shadow of war dissipates, is the bull back?】
5 news items you must know
1⃣ BTC has stood above the 50-day moving average for the first time in two months, finally breaking through $74K after multiple attempts. ETH outperformed BTC by 4.6 percentage points in a week, with funds beginning to flow into altcoins.
2⃣ Signals of easing have appeared in the Strait of Hormuz, with two merchant ships passing through for the first time since the war. Falling oil prices + a weaker dollar = a liquidity antidote for risk assets.
3⃣ Aave's recent $50 million transaction was nearly entirely consumed by a sandwich attack, with arbitrageurs taking away $43 million. The dark forest of DeFi has never disappeared.
4⃣ Tether has invested $1.4 billion in non-crypto fields this year, double the amount invested in crypto projects. Circle's stock price has doubled in a month. The stablecoin sector is making a quiet fortune.
5⃣ Nifty Gateway has officially shut down, with GDC 2026 having zero blockchain topics. The narrative of NFTs and blockchain games has completely fizzled out in this cycle.
To be honest, the essence of this rebound is not how strong the crypto market is, but rather that the macro environment is providing space. The simultaneous occurrence of shipping through the strait, falling oil prices, and a weakening dollar has loosened the valve of liquidity, leading crypto, as a high Beta asset, to naturally partake in the gains.
But what I am more concerned about is:
ETH and SOL have clearly outperformed BTC. The last time this kind of rotation pattern appeared was in the early stages of each bull market expansion. The willingness of funds to move down the risk curve indicates that market fear is receding, and greed is beginning to rise. If altcoins continue to outperform Bitcoin in the coming week, this rebound might not just be a rebound.
Risk warning: Iran's new leader previously stated that the strait should remain closed. Geopolitics can erase all gains with a single tweet. Position management is always more important than directional judgment.
Don’t be greedy, don’t be afraid, stay clear-headed.
