Bitcoin (BTC) has long ceased to be just "internet money" for enthusiasts. Today, it is an asset that the largest funds in the world and even entire states buy. But why is it still important?
Why is Bitcoin unique?
Limited supply: Only 21 million coins will ever be issued. Unlike regular money, Bitcoin cannot be "printed" more, which protects it from inflation.
Decentralization: It is not controlled by any bank or government. Your money belongs solely to you.
Halving: Every 4 years, the influx of new coins is cut in half, which has historically always pushed the price up in the long term.
Is it worth buying now?
The crypto market is volatile — this is a fact. But if you look at the chart over 10 years, the trend is clear. The main rule of a successful investor: "Buy on fear, sell on greed."
Advice for beginners:
Don’t try to guess the perfect moment. Use the DCA (dollar-cost averaging) strategy — buy a small amount regularly, and time will reward you.
