The more time I spend reading about Midnight Network, the more one idea keeps sticking with me — data ownership, right at the moment people interact with an app. Instead of shipping sensitive information across the chain, Midnight lets a user prove things locally through zero-knowledge proofs. Identity checks, permissions, eligibility… the network only receives the proof, not the underlying data. That sounds subtle, but it changes the feeling of control. For a long time, “privacy” in crypto has mostly been marketing or a toggle buried in the tech. Midnight leans somewhere more practical. The user keeps the data. The chain simply verifies the truth. And honestly, if Web3 wants real trust, that direction makes a lot more sense
