What is the #Halving of #Bitcoin and why is it so important?
Within the design of Bitcoin, there is a very important event called Halving.
The Halving occurs approximately every 4 years.
At that moment, something key happens:
📉 The reward that miners receive is cut in half.
This means that the amount of new Bitcoin entering the market decreases.
For example:
• At first, miners received 50 BTC per block
• Then it went to 25 BTC
• Next to 12.5 BTC
• Today the reward is 6.25 BTC
And after each Halving, the issuance continues to decrease.
Why is it important?
Because it slows down the speed at which new Bitcoin is created.
And when something has #oferta limited and demand increases, the market often reacts.
That's why the Halving is an event that many investors watch closely.
It doesn't mean that the #precio will rise immediately, but historically it has been a key moment in the cycles of the crypto market.
