$XAU 12/3, the domestic gold market unexpectedly adjusted as SJC decreased by about 1 million VND per tael after a series of hot days of increase. The main reason is due to the profit-taking mentality of investors when gold prices have climbed to high levels, along with the global gold prices cooling down as the USD strengthens. Despite a slight decrease, SJC gold still maintains a very high price range around 183 – 186 million VND/tael, indicating the strong attraction of the precious metal in the context of a global economy with many fluctuations. Many large investors still see gold as a powerful safe haven, so current adjustments are mainly technical rather than a long-term downtrend.
