HYPERLIQUID COMMUNITY PROPOSES A 45% REDUCTION IN TOTAL SUPPLY OF $HYPE
Two major figures in the industry, Jon Charbonneau (Co-founder of DBA, holding a large amount of HYPE) and Hasu (Strategic Director at Flashbots) have proposed:
Reclaiming rights to all unminted HYPE currently allocated to FECR.
Burning all HYPE currently held in AF. Burning all HYPE that AF receives in the future on an ongoing basis.
Removing the maximum supply limit of 1 billion HYPE.
This proposal will cause the total supply of HYPE to immediately decrease by over 45% and optimize the financial structure of the protocol without affecting the rights of current holders or the protocol's ability to support capital.
