And the action in the last ten days of Ramadan

By seizing the blessed times with good deeds.

Narrated by Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, who said:

The Prophet, peace be upon him, when the ten days entered,

He tightened his loincloth, revived his night, and awakened his family.

Agreed upon, and the wording is for Al-Bukhari 2024

And narrated by Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her,

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, would strive in

The last ten days where he does not strive in others.

☑️ #_The_last_ten_days_of_Ramadan

It is the best nights of the year; in it is the Night of Decree,

And it is better than a thousand months, as Allah, the Exalted, has informed

In the place where he used to write; and for this reason, the Prophet, peace be upon him, would strive

Very much in the worship of his Lord, the Exalted, in these nights,

And he encourages his family to do that.

🔰 #_And_in_these_hadiths_

Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, clarifies the condition of the Prophet, peace be upon him,

In these ten days of his striving in worship

And he encouraged his family to do so, she says:

"When the last ten days of Ramadan entered"

And the beginning of those ten days is from the night of the twenty-first,

"He tightened his loincloth", and it is what is worn from the clothes below the body,

And this is a reference to

Abstaining from women in bed and not having relations with them,

Or it may be that you intend by it seriousness in worship;

For it is said:

I tightened my loincloth regarding this matter,

Meaning: I prepared for it and dedicated myself, "and he revived his night",

By staying up for worship, "and he awakened his family"; to pray at night,

And this is from encouraging a man his family to perform the voluntary prayers.

And the acts of worship, and obtaining the goodness of those days.

ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

And the Prophet, peace be upon him,

He was most eager for reward and recompense,

And he was good at seizing the blessed times,

And among them are the last ten days of Ramadan,

In it is the Night of Decree, which is better than a thousand months.

And Ummul Mu'mineen Aisha narrates

May Allah be pleased with her, that the Prophet, peace be upon him,

When the last ten days of Ramadan came,

And it starts from the night of the twenty-first until the end of the month.

He strives in it what he does not strive in other than it,

i.e., he did more than he would do in other nights;

And this is due to the greatness and virtue of those nights, and seeking the Night of Decree;

It increases obedience and worship, and closeness to Allah, the Exalted.

And he would seclude himself in his prayer place, and abstain from women;

As another narration in the two Sahihs clarified:

"When the ten days entered, he revived the night, and awakened his family,

And he exerted effort and tightened the loincloth.

📚 #_And_in_the_hadith:

And a reference to the encouragement to improve the ending.
