Your first investment should be an amount you are willing to lose. Never use money you need for essential expenses.
🎯 3. DIVERSIFY
Don't put everything in one currency. Spread the risk across different solid projects (BTC, ETH, and some researched alternative).
🔒 4. SECURITY FIRST
Enable 2FA on all your accounts. If you're going to hold large amounts, consider a cold wallet (Ledger/Trezor).
⏳ 5. PATIENCE
The crypto market is volatile. There will be red days. Don't sell in panic. Think long-term.
