I have seen many posts about the crazy prices of USDT to Bolívares #venezuela I know it’s not relevant but... in my case, I use USDT as a savings and I check the price in BCV because many businesses, transportation, etc... operate at the BCV price.
Let’s say I introduced 40000 Bs by buying USDT at varying prices offered by P2P merchants on Binance, those 40000 Bs on Binance are reflected as 300$ USDT. Okay, using Binance to protect myself from the mega inflation the country is experiencing, I already have 300$ on Binance and I only saved, so to speak, 40000 Bs now, and taking advantage of the situation that some businesses and transportation continue to operate at BCV... let’s say there comes a point where I need to withdraw that saved money, give it a month, during that month the price of USDT/Bs increased to today’s price of 270 Bs per USDT. So doing basic calculations, my 300$*270 = turned into 81000 Bs today at BCV, it would be 487$ if I decide to spend my 300$ saved at that time in any business that accepts payments at BCV (The Majority). That means that in the course of the month that I left my "Savings" in Binance, I managed to gain 187$ at BCV. Very important to always calculate at BCV and take the "gains" in Bolivares. If you understand that, I don't think it's necessary to complain about the rise or fall of USDT/Bs. In my opinion, it's the best way to save nowadays in Venezuela 😊
