MASTER CASE: CONNECTIONS BETWEEN MINISTERS AND POLITICIANS WITH VORCARO CAUSE CRISIS.

The case involves investigations by the Federal Police concerning frauds and irregularities linked to Banco Master.
The investigation is part of Operation Compliance Zero.
The owner of the bank, Daniel Vorcaro, was arrested in November 2025.
The suspicions involve financial fraud, political influence, and attempts to interfere in investigations.

2️⃣ The messages that generated the controversy
In recent days, screenshots of messages from Vorcaro's cell phone, seized by the Federal Police, have emerged.
According to reports:
Vorcaro allegedly sent messages to Minister Alexandre de Moraes on the day he was arrested.
In one of them, he allegedly asked something like "did you manage to block?", suggesting an attempt to interfere in some decision or news.

Messages also appear where:
Vorcaro reports negotiations to sell part of the bank to foreign investors.
He mentions a confidential inquiry that was ongoing in the Justice system.

3️⃣ Alexandre de Moraes' position
The minister's office denies having spoken with Vorcaro.
According to the STF's note:
The messages were not sent to the minister's phone.
They would be associated with other contacts in Vorcaro's agenda.

In other words:
➡️ the official version is that the released screenshots do not prove a conversation with Moraes.

4️⃣ Another point that increased the controversy
A factor that also raised suspicions:
The law firm of Moraes' wife, Viviane Barci, had a contract of about R$ 129 million with Banco Master.
This raised debates about a possible conflict of interest, although there is no evidence of a crime so far.

Vorcaro's defense requested an investigation into the leak of data from his cell phone.
