I haven't paid attention to blockchain games for a long time. Although this cycle of blockchain games is relatively depressed, there have always been good attempts emerging continuously.
One advantage of blockchain games is that you can choose your participation method relatively freely. We can hold assets to bet on future developments and the landscape of the project parties, or we can calculate the input-output ratio and configure basic production tools for mining and selling.
Also, season-based blockchain games often have clear prize pool sizes and scoring systems, with competition often existing between players, so there's no need to look at the project party's expression, and the odds are clearer.
Recently, I learned about a blockchain game called Grand Arena Moku. There hasn't been much discussion in the Chinese community, but it has already become very popular abroad. The prize pool size for the first season is quite good, let's study it together.
Grand Arena is a game that combines AI competition and on-chain prediction markets, with $5.35 million in funding. It is co-led by Axie Infinity, Ronin developer Sky Mavis, and a16z Games (Speedrun Accelerator).
Use Moki cards to form lineups and participate in the Daily Contest or Weekly Contest. After submitting the lineup into the Contest, the AI will automatically compete in Moki Mayhem. Points mXP are earned based on the performance of each match. The prize pool for Season 1 has reached $1.05 million, and participating players receive rewards from the prize pool based on their proportion of mXP.
From my experience, the most attractive aspect is that its gameplay has a certain depth but focuses more on strategy, without cumbersome operations.
For ordinary players, the input-output ratio is relatively stable, and you can simultaneously earn USDC and points pool rewards in the game. The process I've summarized for participation can be referred to:
Step one, prepare cards.
At least 4 Champion cards and 1 Scheme card are needed to start. Champion Moki is the main source of points earned in the competition; the higher the rarity of the card, the greater the bonus earned. Scheme is a strategy card that provides bonuses and changes scoring results based on the lineup.
The more cards, the greater the construction space. At the beginning, there is no need to pursue extreme rarity; understanding the rhythm is more important.
Step two, select the competition.
I usually look at three points: registration fee, prize pool size, and competition rules. Different rules are suitable for different lineups; not every competition is worth participating in.
Some lineups have small fluctuations and are suitable for 50/50 structure competitions; some lineups have high but unstable ceilings and are suitable for Top 20% rewards.
Step three, build the lineup.
This is the most critical step. Choose 4 Moki that you think are in good shape recently, and then pair them with a suitable Scheme. Allocate the strength of your deck reasonably across all competitions you want to participate in.
Step four, wait for the competition to proceed automatically.
During the competition, you can view real-time rankings and see if you are in the reward zone. This feels more like a process of validating your construction results, with no room for operation. The outcome is basically determined the moment the submission is made.
Step five, settlement.
At the end of the competition, in-game USDC and mXP are automatically distributed. Cards unlock, and you can continue to the next match.
This game is not about skill but about judgment. It's a competition of who discovers strong Moki earlier, who can calculate multipliers better, who understands synergy in construction more, and who can better control the investment rhythm.
I believe the core advantage of this game lies in its transparent scoring logic and clear seasonal dividend model. It is not like many blockchain games that rely entirely on emotional and narrative fluctuations; it feels more like a long-term points league + data game. If you want to enter, I recommend building a low-cost lineup to start familiarizing yourself with the rhythm from free competitions. Additionally, make sure to check the Leaderboard and data site daily to get the latest data on Moki's combination lineups.
