BNB Chain AI agent skills launched, can trading be done just by chatting?

Recently, BNB Chain launched production-level AI agent "skills" (Skills), allowing autonomous AI agents to directly access on-chain data, execute trades, and manage wallets through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and plugins, achieving a true "chat-to-action" Web3 experience.

Key highlights: agents can read real-time on-chain data and smart contracts; execute swaps (such as exchanging USDT for BNB on PancakeSwap when the price reaches a threshold), add liquidity, stake, and other DeFi actions; support ERC-8004 standard registration for on-chain identities, ensuring decentralization and verifiability. The first batch of skills includes BNB Chain MCP Skill, supporting natural language commands like "Swap 100 USDT to BNB" or "Check my portfolio", with agents autonomously planning and executing without the need for manual signatures or complex interfaces.

Integrated ecosystem is active: protocols like PancakeSwap and Venus are already compatible, and developers can quickly deploy using low-code/no-code tools (such as MyShell, OpenClaw). Binance has also launched 7 AI Agent Skills, covering Spot trading, wallet insights, market rankings, etc., further bridging CEX and on-chain.

This marks an acceleration in the fusion of AI and DeFi: in the future, users may only need to chat to complete complex transactions, arbitrage, or participate in governance, significantly lowering the barriers. However, it should be noted that agent execution involves private key/wallet authorization, which poses high security risks; on-chain transaction gas fees and slippage still exist; new feature volatility is high, and it is recommended to start with small tests, DYOR, and enable multi-factor authentication.

In a bull market, AI agents may become new productivity tools—has the era of chat trading arrived? But rationality comes first, and safety is paramount. $BNB
