If you have seen ads promising automatic profits with a "Binance Triangular Bot", stop for a second. Before connecting your API or depositing funds, you need to understand what is behind this image and how to protect your capital.
đ What is Triangular Arbitrage? (The Theory)
Triangular arbitrage is a real and legitimate strategy. It consists of taking advantage of price differences between three pairs of assets on the same exchange. For example:
You exchange $BTC for ETH.
You exchange that $ETH for USDT.
You change the $USDT back to BTC.
If the exchange rates are misaligned, you end up with more BTC than you had at the beginning. Sounds perfect, right? This is where the problems start.
đ Research: Is this Bot real?
After analyzing the offerings of these bots that circulate in ads and social media, we have found critical points:
AI Aesthetics: The image is a digital creation (likely generated by AI) designed to visually attract with promises of "tech money," but it is not an official communication from Binance.
The Risk of APIs: Many of these bots ask for the "API Keys" of your account. If you give them withdrawal permissions, they can empty your wallet in seconds.
Fees and Slippage: In the real world, trading fees and slippage (price variation during execution) are often greater than the profit from arbitrage, causing the bot to lose money instead of making it.
â ď¸ Warning Signs (Red Flags)
Fixed profit promises: In trading, nothing is guaranteed.
Lack of transparency: If you cannot see the code or the actual transaction history, be wary.
đĄď¸ How to trade safely
Request for external funds: If the bot asks you to send money to a platform that is not Binance, it is a scam.
If you are interested in automation, Binance offers official tools in its "Trading Bots" section. You do not need to resort to unknown third-party applications that promise to "trade for you" without risks.
Remember: In the crypto ecosystem, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is a trap.
