In this lifetime, there are only a few pits. As long as you avoid these pits and don't fall into them, your life will go smoothly.
The first pit is that during elementary school, the most important subject is mathematics. Whoever tells you otherwise, just ignore them. Mathematics must be pursued as the top priority, while Chinese and English can be average; otherwise, by the third year of middle school, you will lose points in physics and chemistry because of poor math skills.
The second pit is to remember that the high school entrance exam is more important than the college entrance exam! Because with determination and effort, you can easily get into one of the top three high schools in your area from a poor middle school. However, trying to get into a 985 university from a poor high school is nearly impossible unless you have exceptional talent.
The third pit is that regardless of your major or job, you must understand compound interest and financial management; otherwise, after working hard for a lifetime, all your efforts will benefit others.
The fourth pit is to be a little kinder to yourself. Why write only this sentence? Because if I elaborate on this, it could easily fill ten thousand words. So let's just stick to one sentence for today.
The fifth pit is to not easily start a business, not easily cooperate with others, and not easily become a partner. Instead of using that time, it’s better to delve into the 10,000-hour rule and become an expert in a certain field while also learning financial management; earning casually is much better than starting a company.
The sixth pit is to not be obsessive in life. No matter what happens, you should learn to take it lightly. Life and death are destined, wealth and nobility are in the heavens.
