SBF: From "Crypto King" to Desperate Petitioner
#Trump le Closes the Door on the Pardon
The media display of Sam Bankman-Fried #SBF on social network X, loaded with praise for the current administration and criticism of his former allies, seems to have hit a wall of political reality.
"Image Washing" Campaign: SBF has maintained a frantic activity on X, insisting on the solvency of #FTX and aligning himself with the economic policies of #DonaldTrump . Although he has not explicitly asked for a pardon, his messages are interpreted as a desperate attempt to gain political favor.
The White House Denial: Official sources and Trump himself have confirmed that there are no plans for a pardon. The former president has already included him in a "blacklist" of ineligible figures alongside names like Nicolás Maduro and Robert Menéndez.
The Revenge Factor: Unlike figures like Changpeng Zhao (CZ) or Ross Ulbricht, who did receive clemency, SBF carries an insurmountable political stigma for the Trump administration: he was one of the largest donors ($5.2 million) to Joe Biden's 2020 campaign.
Current Judicial Situation: SBF is serving a 25-year sentence for what prosecutors described as the largest fraud of the decade, comparing it to Bernie Madoff, the mastermind of the Ponzi scheme. While his mother is attempting desperate legal maneuvers (pro se motion), his main appeal has not yet been admitted for processing.
