The new sample of the Baikal aircraft with a Russian engine has made its first flight 🔥

The new prototype of the LMS-901 Baikal aircraft with a domestic VK-800 engine successfully completed its first test flight. #Самолет was in the air for 10 minutes, reached an altitude of 300 meters, and developed a speed of 190 kilometers per hour, after which it landed normally.

Before the tests, the design was refined to enhance safety and stability. The nose section of the cabin was updated, the landing gear was modernized, and the angle of the wing installation was changed to eliminate premature lift during takeoff in gusty winds.
