A veteran who has been in the tech circle for seven or eight years and has recently become heavily immersed in Web3. In the past few months, I have reviewed all the well-known public chains on the market, from the established Ethereum to various newly released Layer 2 solutions. To be honest, most of them are just 'reheated leftovers,' either lacking technological breakthroughs or having a stagnant ecosystem.
After spending a full two weeks deeply experiencing VANRY, I have come to a possibly bold conclusion: VANRY is currently the most underrated public chain on the market, and its technical strength and ecological potential fully deserve greater attention.
Why do I say this? Let me elaborate.
First, technology is not 'empty talk'; it is real 'speed'.
Many public chain white papers are filled with grand claims, only to reveal their true selves once launched, often experiencing stuttering and congestion. But my first impression of VANRY is stability.
I tested their mainnet transactions, and from transferring to deploying smart contracts, the speed is very fast, and the Gas fees are so low they can be ignored. This is a blessing for developers. Do you know how much it costs to deploy a somewhat complex contract on Ethereum? Hundreds to thousands of dollars are common. But on VANRY, you can do it for a few dozen dollars, and the speed is even faster.
More importantly, VANRY is ahead of many competitors in account abstraction and privacy protection. I tried using their SDK to develop a simple DApp, and the 'smooth' interaction experience made me feel that the mass adoption of Web3 is indeed not far away.
Second, ecological construction does not pursue a 'Great Leap Forward' but rather 'meticulous cultivation'.
I have seen too many public chains that spend lavishly on incentives to make their data look good, only to attract 'scientists' who are just in it for the rewards, and once the rewards are gone, the ecosystem immediately cools down.
VANRY is different. I studied their Grant program closely and found that they are very selective, only investing in projects with real application scenarios and technical barriers. Although the number of projects in the ecosystem is not the highest, the quality is very high. In their app store, I saw many interesting projects, such as decentralized digital identities, enterprise-level supply chain financial solutions, and even games combined with traditional film and television IP.
This 'quality over quantity' strategy may not look impressive in the short term, but in the long run, it is the foundation for healthy ecosystem development.
Third, the team is 'action-oriented', not 'hype-driven'.
In this industry, there are many teams with a large number of Twitter followers and loud voices, but there are not many like VANRY that work quietly. I have reviewed their GitHub, and the code submissions are very active; the technical documentation is extremely detailed, even better than many well-known public chains.
Moreover, they seem not to be keen on marketing gimmicks but rather focus their energy on infrastructure construction and developer support. This 'techie' quality gives me more confidence in the long-term value of the project.
Written in the end:
Of course, VANRY is not without challenges. For example, its brand awareness is not high enough, and its community activity level lags behind leading public chains. But I believe these are merely 'surface issues' that can be resolved over time.
Technology is the moat of public chains, and VANRY's moat is becoming deeper.
If you are a developer looking for a low-cost, high-performance public chain that is willing to invest in the long term; or if you are an investor tired of chasing highs and lows, looking for a 'value depression' with real technical support, then VANRY is definitely worth your time to explore in depth.
