Fogo will be quite popular from the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026, with its mainnet launch accompanied by token airdrops and exchange debuts (such as KuCoin's global debut). On X (Twitter), @fogo (or @FogoChain) is the official account, and community discussions focus on its 'transaction engine-level' performance, institutional-grade infrastructure, and community-oriented token distribution (with a high community share and some early presale turning into airdrops).
Previously on Solana, the confirmation to actual transaction often lagged by 300–500ms, with a price slippage of 0.3%–0.8%.
After switching to Fogo, it's basically 'if you want to buy, you can buy it', 40ms block time is really not just marketing, the entire process from placing an order to transaction feels as smooth as a local application.
I tried the order book of FluxBeam and the staking of Brasa. The gas was basically balanced out by the session, so I didn't have to pop up the wallet signature every time I clicked. The experience has directly reached CEX level.
MEV has obviously decreased a lot, and I haven't been beaten up again.
The only minor complaint is that after the validator clustering, the latency of some Asian nodes is still slightly higher than that of Tokyo/Singapore, but overall it has already crushed 99% of L1.
In a nutshell: If you are a player who truly engages in on-chain transactions and not just a pure holder, Fogo is worth trying out immediately.
This is not 'a bit faster', this is 'finally not disgusting'.
