In recent months, hundreds of users who registered for Worldcoin by verifying their identity with the Orb scan report feeling "scammed." Why?

👉 At the beginning of the project, those who completed the identity verification received a monthly airdrop of $WLD free tokens, known as World Grants.
👉 This benefit was designed to be distributed in a decreasing manner over the course of a year (example: a larger amount at the beginning and then progressively smaller amounts).
👉 However, many users interpreted that the distributions would be unlimited and monthly indefinitely.

📉 At the conclusion of the distribution period, beneficiaries stopped receiving free tokens, which generated confusion and annoyance. For some, this was perceived as a lack of transparency, despite the fact that the project's whitepaper always specified that the distributions were temporary and had an expiration date.
