#DayTradingStrategy
Under the concept of #DayTradingStrategy, Day Trading consists of executing transactions of financial assets within an intraday timeframe, aiming to profit from short-term volatility. This trading modality is characterized by its high frequency and speed in taking profits.
There are several methodologies of Day Trading:
Scalping focuses on very short-duration operations and high volume, where precision and low spread are vital.
Momentum Trading is based on identifying news catalysts or volume spikes, entering at the beginning of the momentum and exiting before its dissipation.
Breakout Trading seeks to take advantage of breaks in support/resistance levels, confirmed by volume, with stop-losses adjusted to the range.
Finally, Mean Reversion operates in situations of price overextension relative to its averages, using tools such as Bollinger Bands or RSI.
