This is a very necessary question to ask, and very complex to answer.

Because it goes hand in hand with your psychology.

On one hand, we have spot trading which offers advantages such as access to Launchpools, Airdrops, and compound interest, allowing you to earn extra just by holding your cryptos. However, among its disadvantages is the time it takes to see profits, as if you are an investor with little capital, you will not see astronomical gains in a short time; that does not mean you won't see them, as cryptocurrencies usually tend to increase in value over time.

On the other hand, we have futures trading, which among its advantages allows us to start with a really small capital, as it offers leverage on some assets up to 125x. Another advantage is that in futures trading, you can profit whether the asset goes up or down. However, what is an advantage like leverage can also be a disadvantage since just as your capital multiplies due to leverage, your losses also increase if the market goes against your analysis.

Therefore, spot trading gives us tranquility because we can buy an asset and hold it for a long time, and when we check back, it will surely have increased in value. However, a recommendation would be not to buy just because someone tells you to, but to conduct an analysis of why you should buy, so your investment grows more each day.

Futures trading gives us adrenaline because we face market volatility where a good analysis could yield very large profits, but a bad analysis could cost us a lot of money. Futures trading is not for everyone as it requires a lot of preparation and discipline, but if you are consistent, you could become part of that 1% that manages to be profitable.
