š“ Look, my friend... the story started about a week ago while we were on holiday and not following up... The Trump administration ordered the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to conduct massive raids in Los Angeles, California, to arrest undocumented immigrants and deport them from the United States...
And this is exactly what happened... For an entire week, police forces conducted intensive security campaigns and raids on clothing stores, restaurants, and donut shops to arrest immigrants and deport them... The result was that more than 118 people were arrested, including 44 people on Saturday alone...
š¢ But the problem wasn't in the arrests themselves, but in the method... Imagine armored vehicles suddenly blocking the street, and federal security forces armed with terrifying amounts of weapons storming places without warning or permission and snatching people right in front of the eyes of families, employees, and workers...
The situation was closer to a Hollywood movie, and if you saw it happening, you would never believe you were in America, which is called the land of freedoms... because of the scenes that were happening there and the videos, you would never see anything like it even in the Arab countries that are said to be oppressive.
šµ The idea is that the people living in Los Angeles, we could say about 70% of them are not even of American descent, but they are immigrants from Mexico or Latin America... So you literally want to arrest almost half the cityās population, take them from their families, friends, and loved ones, and throw them in jail in preparation for deporting them from the country... And you expect things to go smoothly?!
Of course not... The situation exploded and people didnāt hold back; they took to the streets in massive protests like nothing seen in America since the events of 2020 that erupted due to "George Floyd"...
And just minutes after the start of these protests, they turned into violent confrontations between the people and the security forces and riot control... and the situation escalated quickly to the point where it turned into something resembling a small revolution... Molotov cocktails were thrown... cars were burned... fireworks and firecrackers were shot at the security forces, and the atmosphere felt just like a civil war...
š” So what did Trump do when he saw the situation like this?
As usual, his response was foolish, as if he was waiting for any opportunity to escalate matters further and ignite them... Suddenly, just as these events began, Trump decided to send 2000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, without even seeking permission from the governor of California... using an old law called Title 10 that allows him to completely bypass state authority in emergencies.
Simply put, the president decided to send military forces into an American state against the wishes of its governor and officials, something akin to internal occupation... And of course, this is something that shouldnāt happen, especially in America, which is originally called the "United States" as its name suggests... Each state has its own laws and governors, and the president cannot intervene with such a unilateral decision...
š The situation didn't stop here... The American Secretary of Defense, "Pete Hegseth," said something even worse than that...
He said that if the violence continues, we will not only deploy the National Guard, but we will also send troops from the U.S. Marine Corps themselves, the "Marines," from the "Camp Pendleton" base, and they will spread throughout the entire city!
š£ Imagine... the Marines trained for real combat, who have previously fought in America's wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam, will be on the streets of an American city to stand against civilians!
Of course, officials in California are not silent; Governor "Gavin Newsom" accused Trump of staging a political theater to gain popularity, and he said verbatim, "Trump wants to create a spectacle at the expense of the people"... Not to mention that the mayor of Los Angeles, "Karen Bass," said that sending the National Guard "is unnecessary" and will escalate the situation further, and could lead to a disaster that rapidly develops into a civil war between the military forces and civilians!

The truth is that Trump has been escalating his campaign against immigrants for a while, especially in leftist and liberal states like California that oppose his right-wing policies significantly... The man is coming in full force to implement a policy he refers to as "zero tolerance" on immigration, and his stated goal is to make about 3,000 arrests a day across the entire United States, and deport them all without any regard for their circumstances or papers!
And the idea is that what he is doing is not just a security policy as he claims... Trump wants to create a major confrontation between immigrants and security forces, and gain internal popular support from people amidst the economic crisis and political tension that he caused...
He sees that the protests and violence are in his favor, and that he can use them as a means to assert and impose his control over the entire country as the "lawman," the only one capable of controlling the situation...
š” And this is what is frightening people there now...
America, my friend, is not an ordinary country... rather it is a collection of states that were completely separate at the time of their birth, and finally united after bloody wars and a civil war that took millions of American lives... and the law that binds all of this together was specifically put in place so that what happened in the past does not happen again...
šµ But what is happening now is not an immigration crisis... It is a real test of the idea of America itself...
Using the military on the American street in this way means that Trump is willing to go to the furthest extent possible to implement his policy, even if it means an open confrontation with state governors and residents... even if this method completely destroys trust between the American people and the central federal government... which in turn could lead the country to an actual and real civil war, not just a plot in a movie like Civil War that was released a while ago in Hollywood!
