According to Odaily, David Sacks, known as the ‘Crypto Czar,’ or crypto guru discussed the possibility of a Bitcoin reserve during a press conference in Washington on Tuesday. He stated that considering a Bitcoin reserve is a top issue for a government task force that he is a member of. However, the task force is still in its early stages, awaiting confirmation from several cabinet members. Sacks emphasized that the topic remains a priority.

When asked about the involvement of the cryptocurrency industry in the White House initiative, Sacks said that a statement would be released in the future to allow for some form of engagement with the industry.

Previously, Sacks has indicated that the feasibility of a Bitcoin reserve is under study, but he could not comment on whether sovereign wealth funds should hold the cryptocurrency.
