Continuing its product and service review actions, Binance announced this Wednesday (4) the removal of two more cryptocurrency pairs.
According to the Exchange's statement, the main reasons involve protecting users and maintaining the quality of trades. Find out more below.
Binance cited a few more aspects that contributed to the decision. According to its statement, the decision is also anchored in the low liquidity and trading volume of both.
Therefore, starting December 6th, the exchange will no longer trade NOT/BNB and RDN/BTC. The decision, however, will not affect the availability of the tokens on Binance Spot. Investors will still be able to trade their base assets and the price of the removed pairs in other pairs available within the platform.

In addition to the spot trading pairs removed by Binance, the platform will also disable the services of bots to trade them.
Therefore, the exchange recommends that its customers update or disable their bots first. This will be essential to avoid losses.
Within the crypto market, spot trading pairs are an important trading resource. They consist of a combination of two assets, such as NOT/BNB and RDN/BTC, which can be traded directly against each other. This is a common operation within Binance. However, the pairs removed by the Exchange do not seem to be in a good phase.
Binance to Support Wise Monkey Airdrop
In other news, Binance confirmed earlier this week that it will support the Wise Monkey (MONKY) memecoin. The asset will launch on December 12, with 35% of the supply within the Floky memecoin ecosystem.
And 27% of that total will go to Floky holders and exchanges that support its distribution, such as Binance. This is a curious decision, considering the recent opinion of Changpeng Zhao, the platform's creator, on memecoins.
He recently stated on X that he is not against memes, but that this type of asset is getting weird. Zhao also suggested creating real applications for crypto assets using blockchain. In any case, Binance supports several memecoins, and starting on the 12th, another asset of this type will be part of its catalog.
