Putin signed a law legalizing Bitcoin mining in Russia. Only Russian legal entities and registered individual entrepreneurs can mine. Individuals within the energy limits set by the government can mine without registration. Foreign digital assets will be allowed to be traded on Russian blockchain platforms. If certain cryptocurrencies threaten financial stability, the Bank of Russia can ban them.
