Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that a U.S. F-16 fighter jet was struck during a recent wave of military actions. According to RTHK, the Revolutionary Guard stated that missiles and drones targeted several American and Israeli heavy industrial enterprises in Israel and other locations, causing damage to some facilities. The statement warned that any attacks on Iranian industrial facilities by the U.S. would be met with retaliation.
Additionally, Iran's Fars News Agency reported that the Iranian Intelligence Ministry recently conducted operations across multiple provinces, resulting in the elimination of five separatist terrorists and the capture of 19 American and Israeli mercenaries.
In a separate development, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, during a conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressed concerns over Iran being subjected to military aggression twice despite engaging in dialogue and diplomatic efforts. He highlighted that although U.S. officials have promised not to target Iran's economic and energy infrastructure, these facilities have become targets, leading to increased distrust of the U.S. due to its contradictory actions and statements.
