The International Space Station (ISS) experienced its first medical evacuation since it began hosting rotating astronaut crews in November 2000. According to Ming Pao, U.S. astronaut Mike Fincke was involved in the incident, which occurred in mid-January this year. Fincke revealed that he suddenly lost the ability to speak while aboard the ISS, and the cause of this condition remains unknown.
