Senator Lummis States US Military Supports Strategic Bitcoin Reserves
Senator from the state of Wyoming, United States (US) Cynthia Lummis stated that her country's military has provided support for the proposed strategic Bitcoin reserves.
Lummis mentioned that the trade war situation between the US and China, which threatens the US economy, could be addressed with strategic Bitcoin reserves.
"I can say that even US military leaders do not disagree with it. There are generals, especially in Southeast Asia, who believe that it is important to have strategic Bitcoin reserves because we are in an economic war with China and we must be prepared for a war of weapons and bullets," said Lummis in response to comments from JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, as reported by Lummis on Bloomberg TV, Wednesday (04/06).
Some US generals consider Bitcoin reserves to be very important and a part of geopolitical strategy, especially if the trade war with China escalates and involves weapons.
