Ripple is expanding its footprint in Brazil by rolling out a full suite of institutional services and applying for a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license. The company is introducing cross‑border payments, custody, treasury management, and prime brokerage tools as RLUSD stablecoin adoption accelerates across Latin America.

Brazilian institutions are already integrating Ripple’s infrastructure: Banco Genial uses it for same‑day USD disbursements and RLUSD flows, Braza Bank has issued its BBRL stablecoin on the XRP Ledger, and Nomad leverages Ripple for treasury operations. Ripple Custody is also entering the market, supporting tokenization and secure digital asset storage, while RLUSD has surpassed a $1.5 billion market cap and is listed on platforms like Mercado Bitcoin, Foxbit, and Ripio.
