Most people would have clicked Redeem immediately and guessed a direction. I'm not doing that.

Trading futures often reminds me of fishing.

Everyone wants to catch a lot of fish and fill their bucket quickly. But not everyone has the proper fishing rod and equipment. In trading, that equipment represents capital, knowledge, and risk management.

Once people finally get their rod, many become impatient. They want to catch the biggest fish as fast as possible. But without enough experience, they don’t know how to control the rod properly. As a result, they push too hard — and sometimes the rod breaks.

In trading terms, that means blowing the allocated capital.

Fishing teaches an important lesson: patience.

Some fish are caught quickly. Others take much longer. And some are extremely difficult to catch. Trading positions work the same way. Some trades close in profit within minutes, while others require time, patience, and discipline.

If you rush the process, you often lose the opportunity.

I’m not sure how this kind of post will be received on Binance Square, but this simple metaphor has helped me stay calm, manage my positions better, and wait for trades to turn profitable instead of forcing them.

Sometimes the best strategy is simple:
