Every time I enter the Binance app, I am overwhelmed by the new hot altcoins popping up.
This is why we still do not have a real altcoin season, like in previous seasons.
In previous seasons like 2017, 2018, and 2021, there weren't many altcoins in the market.
Therefore, when new people enter this market, they are only attracted to the old coins.
This means their choices are limited; they just see a cheap coin and buy it right away.
That's why we often see an altcoin season.
Now it's 2024 and soon it will be 2025.
From my personal perspective, there are too many new coins in the market right now.
Especially any new coin that comes out is hot and popular at first, then every few days or weeks, another altcoin is launched.
It becomes hot and takes over the entire altcoin market share, all the focus is drawn to it.
After a while, another new coin comes out, and everyone jumps to it, creating a cycle that repeats itself.
No wonder we haven't seen any old altcoins soar strongly. Most only see a few lucky top coins that have a chance.
The rest will have to wait in line for their turn.
Many investors wonder, oh no, I've accidentally invested in old coins.

The scandal was triggered by Ogle, a pseudonymous founder of Layer 1 Glue, who posted a viral thread on X accusing Across Protocol leaders — particularly Kevin Chan and CEO Hart Lambur — of orchestrating two secret proposals that directly benefited their own company, Risk Labs.
🔹 The first proposal, from October 2023, allocated 100 million ACX tokens under the pretext of future development support, claiming the tokens would not be sold for two years. In reality, token option contracts were reportedly offered to outside investors soon after.
🔹 The second proposal for “retroactive funding” of 50 million ACX passed mainly due to votes from wallets allegedly controlled by insiders. Without those, quorum would never have been reached.
