About Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a cryptocurrency and blockchain network created as a result of a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain in 2017. Bitcoin Cash integrates a number of changes to the original Bitcoin code in order to provide faster transaction throughput and scalability.

The primary difference between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin is the size of the blocks in which transactions are written to the blockchain. A schism between Bitcoin and what would later become the Bitcoin Cash community in 2017 led to the creation of Bitcoin Cash, which integrates a significantly greater block size than Bitcoin.

While Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin share a number of technical similarities, such as a maximum token supply of 21 million coins and a proof-of- (PoW) consensus method, Bitcoin Cash is designed to facilitate fast peer-to-peer (P2P) payments between users.

Unlike Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash does not use Segregated Witness (SegWit). BCH price is updated and available in real time on Binance.
