Honestly, most of this feels overcomplicated.
All I want is to prove something once and have it work everywhere. That’s it. But instead we’ve got wallets, tokens, keys, signatures… and half the time something still breaks.
They say it’s decentralized, but you still need someone to issue the credential. You still need someone to accept it. So what really changed?
And turning everything into tokens just makes people game the system. People collect credentials like points instead of actually learning anything.
Plus, if I lose access, I’m screwed. No simple recovery. No backup plan that actually makes sense for normal users.
There is a real problem here. Verifying things globally is slow and messy right now. But this isn’t the clean solution people pretend it is.
Just make it simple. Make it work. Stop overengineering it.
