Middle East escalation is lifting oil and reviving the dollar’s safe-haven premium while risk sentiment weakens across global markets. Yen strength from intervention warnings briefly slowed the move, but ING says the USD should keep its monthly gains unless Iran delivers a clear de-escalation signal.

I’m leaning bullish on the dollar here because institutions usually chase safety before the crowd reacts. If conflict risk stays elevated and oil remains bid, USD shorts can get squeezed hard.
