The more I think about Sign, the less I think it’s just building trust rails.

It feels like it’s building memory.

And crypto is weirdly bad at that....

This space records everything. Wallets move... People contribute... Communities form. Users show up over time. But somehow all that history still keeps dying inside isolated apps like it never happened anywhere that matters.

That’s the part I keep coming back to....

Recording is not the same as remembering.

Sign matters because it might turn verified history into something reusable.... Not just proof for one moment. Something future systems can actually use for access, credibility, rewards, and coordination.

Which is a lot more interesting than another protocol proudly announcing it has data....

Crypto already has data.

What it keeps lacking is memory that survives context.
